Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance
Now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
[Chorus]
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds
Still we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
[Chorus]
Risin' up straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance
Now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive
[Chorus]
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
To top of my Rocky impression I decided to add some additional cardio to my workout. I picked up an old DVD my little sister lent me and thought I would give it a shot; Jillian Michaels Kickboxing Fastfix. It was wonderful! Some of the moves were on the tricky side but felt good during and after.
After several long months I am finally selling my van and buying a new one. I am sorry to disappoint those of you who thought I was really cool and drove a new Charger or something even cooler then that... I am a soccer mom mini van driver. I am debating about two different vans right now. I can go with lower miles, cheapest, newer brakes, no reported accident, with white leather seats... or I can go with 10K more miles, $1000K more, not sure on the brakes, accident with utility pole reported, but dark leather seats.
Even though I am a soccer mom I am still riding comfortably. I have heated leather seats (front and back), remote start, duel dvd, navigation, back up camera, keyless entry, remote sliding doors, RCA jacks throughout, installed slider blinds, etc... This mom is not going to haul a million kids and not have a few toys to keep everyone busy. Only thing missing is the sunroof (but who needs that when you live in Michigan).
Stay tune for updates as I have them.
I want to try that DVD! Let me know how it goes!!
ReplyDeleteSo far so good.. I will let you know when I complete all three sets a couple times. Hardest kicks so far are the back then front combos.
